A JP stab? A whatta what? Let us explain.

JP is an abbreviation for Jupiter, a synthesizer series made popular by electronics manufacturer, Roland. Not sure if you've noticed, but we've been all about synthesizers this week!

A stab is when you literally stab the keys with whatever you have lying next to you. A pencil? Okay! A coffee mug? Heck why not! Alright, we kid, we kid. A stab is pretty much a cross between a distorted guitar and a vigerous synth. The result of this combination? One awesome sound effect that yells out, "I got the power!".

So for today, we've decided to add JP Stab Minor and JP Stab Major to the growing list of instruments in Roc, our music creator. This means you have 24 'stabbing' synth effects to add to your tunes. You can find the latest installment in the instruments tool bar, located on the right hand side.
