To follow the glorious 8-bit series we started yesterday, we present to you, the 8-bit Piano! An instrument we're all familiar with, except with a fun, retro twist that'll make you 1. March down to your local game store and purchase every NES game ever made, and 2. Make you feel extremely old (in a good way!).

You can now find 8-bit Piano Lo and 8-bit Piano Hi in the growing list of instruments in Roc, our music creator. This means you have 24 new 8-bit sound effects to add to your 'retro' tunes. You can find the latest installment in the instruments tool bar, located on the right hand side.

Listen to this awesome tune Styromus made for us, but be warned, you WILL get transported back into the past after listening to this. Launch Roc to start making your own video game scores right now!

Remember, every instrument, including 8-bit Piano Lo and Hi, is licensed under creative commons attribution, and can be used commercially. This means that you can use any music you've created in Roc (even in a commercial project!) as long as you give Aviary credit.
