Partner Spotlight: LipMe

We recently launched our photo-editing SDK, a mobile version of our popular web-based simple photo editor. Developers of mobile applications can now add our photo editor’s powerful functionality into any iPhone or Android app with just a few lines of code! Read on to see what LipMe did with our tools, or check out the rest of our partners to see how they’re putting our editor to use.

Aside from their ability to change the world or end world hunger (mind you, this only applies to a handful), mankind was blessed with celebrities and generally famous people for two reasons: (1) to imitate them; (2) to make fun of them.

Naturally, the same logic applies to your friends. And animals. And heck, for sake of being inclusive, inanimate objects count too.

Behold: LipMe, the mobile application that enables you to record and share your funny impersonations of anyone -- or anything! Nobody is safe from your Conan-esque pranks. LipMe has made sure Aviary can join in on the fun by integrating our editor into their impersonation tools. Want to be sure your picture of Christopher Walken is as on point as your vocal impersonation is? How about the ability to give your photos a Santa Claus hat, or a range of immaculately groomed mustaches?

Don't worry, LipMe and Aviary have taken care of all of that.

To demonstrate the ease of the workflow, we've borrowed the beautiful mug of Aviary's marketing mastermind, Nam.

Simply take or upload a photo of whatever you'd like to imitate. Aviary's editor will automatically pop up, enabling you to fix your photos to your liking. After you're done, use a few swipes to remove the mouth of the photo, use the iPhone's front-facing camera to line up your mouth to the missing area, and record your impersonation.

Now get to your nearest mirror, perfect your impersonation, and download LipMe for endless imitation fun! Your friends might not thank you, but after they see what you've done, we're fairly sure they'll end up impersonating you sometime in the near future.
