Brazilian soccer great Pelé scored his 1000th goal!! It was a huge achievement for this soccer great, who was praised as one of the greatest players to ever set feet on the field. At the tender age of 17, he led the Brazilian national team to victory in the World Cup in 1957, scoring 2 goals, and again in 1958, 1962, and 1970. You might think, oh man, Pelé must've been some gifted ginormous athlete, but no, standing at just 5 foot 8 inches, he was able to use his speed, power, and control to dominate his opponents. In 1993, he was inducted into the National Soccer Hall of Fame. In honor of the soccer great, here are a few of our favorite soccer creations from Aviary and Worth1000. And remember, "Zero-zero is a big score".
